Review
Siddu (Praveen Tej) suffers from disorder that makes it difficult for him to differentiate between dream and reality. His biggest challenge is to find a girl willing to marry him, despite his condition. He finds his lady-love in Madhu (Shilpa Manjunath).
But then, when Madhu goes to Rajasthan to attend her friend’s wedding, leaving Siddu behind, he becomes embroiled in a murder mystery. Did the murder really happen, or was it a figment of Siddu’s imagination? Will he be able to lead normal life after all the drama that ensues?
Striker is an edge-of-the-seat thriller that keeps you intrigued. There are not many movies in Sandalwood which that revolve around disorders and are entwined with a murder case. This is novel attempt by director Pawan Trivikram.
The tempo in the second half keeps you engrossed and makes up for the quite ordinary first half. Praveen Tej is back with another performance-driven role after Churi Katte. He deserves appreciation for essaying the role with ease. Music director Bharath BJ has done a commendable job. Striker is worth watching.
