Review

Inggrid Sonya managed to make me somersault. Just imagine, after Nagra and Aru, her duet novel with Jenny Thalia that made me giggle like crazy when reading it, now I am sobbing reading Tujuh Hari untuk Keshia. I really like the themes taken by the author, it can open my eyes to several things that have been missed so far.

This time, the main character carried by Inggrid is a child who was born from a mistake (pregnant out of wedlock), and does not know her father at all. Since childhood, she was only taken care of by her grandmother and mother, of course making the girl dream of the warmth of her father’s embrace.

However, that did not make her weak. The girl who often sold steamed cakes in the school canteen actually grew into an independent, mature, strong, steadfast, and cheerful person. The various trials that continued to apply to her also inevitably made her retreat.

The beautiful girl is basically a caring person. Unfortunately, she always clashes with painful things. Left by her mother who remarried, until she met her biological father who she had not seen for 16 years. Such a situation made her try to suppress her nature, so as not to appear weak and whiny. I really like characters like her!

This story would not be complete without Sadewa, Keshia’s biological father. His character is very unique. He is a man in his mid-30s who is often called handsome, as well as the leader of the band Seventy Six. The man is still alone, living in a simple housing complex. Of course, that makes him free to do anything and without any responsibilities.
